A new begginning...

Welcome! This is the newly founded Global Infiltrating Unit Linked to International Organizations (G.I.U.L.I.O.) Head Quarters!

Okay, I'm joking about this being a military organization, this is just a 2 out of 7 days updated blog by a pretty average teen, who's fascinated by First/Third Person Shooters (F/TPS), strategy games, as well as Massive Multiplayer Online (MMO) games.

So now that I'm here (well not exactly), I assume that I need to explain of how this blog came to be.

Okay then, this blog is right now coming out of a project out of my Media Studies, journalism if you will. The assignment simply asked the class to research new rising media in the form of social technology; the latter included podcast, social networking, YouTube, and of course, Blogs. Then we had to come up with our own example of that media.

I had very little knowledge (and still) of any of these topics, apart podcast, but I couldn't do that, since I do not have an iPod (It's because I live in a 3rd World Country). YouTube wasn't an option either, as I lack a camera. Social Networking seemed too complicated as a project, so I decided to go with a blog.

Pretty dumb for a reason to create a blog, ain't it?

I do intend to keep this blog updated as my own thing. However, it will most likely be irregular. I mean, in my free time (generally 3 or 4 hours) I'm most likely gonna use that time for gaming. Also right now, I'm having Internet problems at my house, and my only access to the Internet right now is my school's IT lab. So probably 2 days (I'm aiming at Wednesdays and Fridays) a week.

What you can expect to find in my blog are discussions (often with myself) about questions in life, or more likely, video games.

Well you can expect something that interests me, and the G.I.U.L.I.O... is an interesting story. Make yourselves comfortable.

Me and my brother were waiting outside a shoe shop for our father to come out. As you can imagine, we disliked at the time shopping for shoes. To kill time, we decided to use names of our relatives (including our own), and turn them into acronyms. Our names...weren't interestingly shrewd. However, there was one name, that was just genius. Coincidence, or destiny? My grandfather's name Giulio became into what is today G.I.U.L.I.O.

Maybe it isn't as interesting, isn't it?
